We offer a wide range of social, community and recreational group activities that are designed to promote social interaction, skill development, and community engagement that include: Cooking classes, arts classes, music therapy, sports and fitness, trip to the zoo, coffee clubs, bushwalking, participation in community events, cultural events, hobby groups, computer classes, literature and numeracy programs and much more.
This includes personal care services to assist with activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication management. This support ensures individuals can maintain their personal hygiene and well-being. In addition, assistance with daily life also covers assistance with domestic activities, meal preparation and cleaning.
This includes core funding for transport-related needs to individuals with disabilities and different levels of transport funding are available based on an individual's specific needs and circumstances such as transport to medical appointments, participation in community activities, engaging in employment services and programs, education and much more.
Consumables are covered under core supports that includes funding for everyday item expenses, continence, and incontinence aid such as disposable pads or catheters, wound care supplies, feeding tubes and accessories, specialized clothing for individuals with sensory sensitivities, and assistive devices for communication or mobility.
Support Coordinators work closely with participants and aim to empower individuals with disabilities to exercise choice and control over their supports. They work alongside individuals to maximize their opportunities for independence, community participation, and achieving their desired outcomes as outlined in their NDIS plans.
